Nepali-inspired everyday crew
Inspired by traditional Nepali Dhaka geometric patterns, the Devaki Eco Crew is a stylish and sustainable crew neck from Sherpa Adventure Gear. Made for the everyday, the Devaki is ideal for those cooler days when an extra layer of wool will do the trick. And it’s sustainably sourced wool too, certified by the responsible wool standard (RWS). The viscose, on the other hand, is FSC-certified and is derived from natural sources, whilst the nylon is 100% recycled. All of these materials combine to create a beautifully designed sweater that is both sustainably-made, and genuinely functional. The ribbed collar, cuffs and hem are also built to keep the warmth in, all whilst wicking away excess moisture and keeping the cold firmly out. With sizes ranging from XS to XXL and two colour options to choose from, the Devaki Eco Crew is the perfect everyday option for this winter

Sherpas are the unsung heroes of Himalayan expeditions. It is the Sherpas who establish the climbers’ camps, carry the loads and set the fixed ropes to the summit. Sherpa Adventure Gear was established in 2003 to pay tribute to these high-altitude heroes. But it is more than just a brand name. This is high-quality outdoor and lifestyle clothing with authentic Himalayan heritage. The company is entirely Sherpa-owned, with firm roots in Nepal, where the overwhelming majority of its products are all designed, developed and manufactured – providing local training and employment for hundreds of people. In addition, the brand is committed to educating the next generation of Nepal’s children – by building libraries and renovating classrooms, training teachers and school staff, and developing and distributing schoolbooks and resources. In fact, every bit of Sherpa gear you buy funds a school day for a child in Nepal. So, this is not just beautifully made stuff, it’s also kit with a conscience. Namaste.
